Lots of celebrations happening in the Berg household this week!
And we are celebrating for our son, Regan! He has just been appointed Chief Resident Surgeon of the Trauma unit at the Kingston General hospital, an honor usually awarded to a fifth year resident. Regan is just starting his third year. He has held a clear Intention – to do a fellowship in Trauma Surgery. His faith is unwavering, and inspired things are falling into place to make his application to one of these highly competitive spots come true. Isn’t it amazing how so many of the successes we see in life can be linked to the simple formula we are teaching!

Had another great visit with Carla Cargle on her radio program “The Financial Truth”. Since it was Easter weekend, she dedicated the program to Gratitude and its impact on wealth building. We have lots of folks who could share stories proving that it all starts with Gratitude. In our Living in the Law, segment you can read more about the stories of Cheri Jenkins and Roberta Brunin. Financial success. This is the most common goal for the folks I have worked with in the Law of Attraction. It is often the most challenging. In this issue, we are sharing 3 stories of people who know that it can be done. Look in our Tips section for suggestions to speed up this process for you. Roberta Brunin, Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada Roberta is a firewalker, Reiki Master and hypnotist. You would think she has this mind/body connection stuff pretty much in control. When she came twice to the Attracting Success seminars, and then asked me to coach her, I was honored. Her story points to the importance of understanding that this is journey. The more you explore it, the better you get at it – you continue to grow - and each step of the journey requires new mentors. Roberta delivers seminars on a variety of personal development skills including Firewalks. She is delighted with her life and attracts much abundance. The one area that eluded her was financial abundance. We zeroed in on that one and discovered a place where Gratitude could possibly be slipping her up. Language is so important to this process. Words have their own special energy for each of us. We discovered Roberta had a unique early childhood recollection of the word “Gratitude”. In a large family with very limited funds, she learned not to ask for too much. She learned – “You should be grateful for what you have”. Once we get at the feelings underlying these beliefs… it is not enough to just get at the belief... get at the feelings linked to the belief and rapid progress is made. This belief had Roberta feeling guilty for expecting more. She was already living a full and abundance life… “who was she to ask for more!” As soon as she realized this little sabotage that was going on – bingo - in February, she had an income of over $100,000. Her investment of this money will get her many more $100,000 months in the future. Watch for Roberta’s upcoming CD’s and book “Faith and Fire – how to get through life without getting burned!” due out in September. Congrats Roberta! Cheri Jenkins, Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada Where Roberta’s story was a break through in HAVING the right vibration, Cheri’s success comes from BEING clear. After attending an Attracting Success seminar in Abbotsford last fall, she began to realize how much of her waking time was spent thinking about what she did not have. Finances were top of the list. Cheri is a single Mom who has returned to post-secondary school as a mature student. She was juggling concerns about money and worry about grades. A real stew of negativity! She immediately grasped the idea of the impact of our thoughts and feelings. She started to hold only positive thoughts. Cheri, most of her life, has been an eternal optimist - so for her - the switch came quite quickly. She allowed herself to BE in a place she knew well – positive thinking. Then she let go and had FAITH. She SURRENDERED to the process. BEING clear about what you want - BEING able to TRUST, have FAITH and SURRENDER - opens you to rapid receiving. Suddenly, money she had lost hope of ever seeing 15 years came to her. But Cheri tells me that best part is that she just feels happy ALL THE TIME. Not a bad place to be, wouldn’t you agree! |

There are lots of approaches out there to get at your limiting beliefs. That can be helpful. But if you don’t get at the FEELINGS these beliefs hold for - you cannot permanently get rid of them. Here’s an example. I may hold a limiting belief that” people who are rich are crooks”. I replace it with a new thought, “People who are rich are wonderful people just like me”. Hhhmmm – nothing seems to be shifting! It is the feeling this thought is giving me that I need to uncover. I think the feeling is ANGER. I am angry with all those people with money because “I know they conned someone to get it”. I am vibrating ANGER - I attracting more and more things to feed my anger. They won’t always be related to money! That is the important “Ah –ha” here. My spouse may treat me badly. That makes me angry. The kids crash the car. That makes me angry. So what does that have to do with my belief about rich people being crooks? I will see no connection. But there is!! ANGER! – A FEELING The Law of Attraction says the universe responds our vibration – not our specific beliefs. It is responding to give you more of what you are asking – and that is anger. Zero in the feeling – and change happens quickly. That is why I am so impressed with the Unveiling Your Dreams Course that Sunshower has put together and I am so delighted we are offering this very unique approach through Soul Abundant. Congratulations, Michael! Michael is from Victoria British Columbia. His book The Law of Attraction is a Canadian best seller. I first met Michael almost 5 years ago. This is one of my Law of Attraction stories! I had been as student of these concepts for many years. I had mentored with Bob Proctor for at least 10 years. I was currently at a point in my life where I was looking for new answers. Why did success seem to allude so many even though they were working very diligently? An associate referred me to Michael’s book. It was the first I had read that contained such specific skills. Within a few days I “discovered” Michael was doing a book signing in the city where I was living. I met him and he invited me to be his guest at his seminar. I organized a few major sessions with some of my Nikken associates and was impressed - Michael truly walked the talk. He was teaching skills and expecting his techniques to work. Many people talk about the concepts and get folks excited. But if there truly is a “Science to Getting Rich” then by definition – science means it must be able to be broken into steps, and taught so as to be replicated by anyone to get the same results! Michael had a huge impact on my personal growth and on the Attracting Success seminars. I wanted to take this same skill building approach and expand it even further by adding concepts of Quantum Physics and Applied Kinesiology and teaching a much broader understanding of the Law of Attraction - as a renaissance in human consciousness – but always with the intention of skill building – not just information. When I first met Michael, he said he would be on the Oprah show. That is such a good example of how long it takes to manifest. Michael might have pushed against this and forced such an interview – but I suspect he let it evolve and grow. How much greater impact now that the DVD The Secret is out and the whole world is open to the ideas. Five years ago, no one would have remembered or perhaps even listened! I want to introduce you to Nana, my grandmother, who on April 15th celebrated her 102nd birthday! Life has changed for her in the past year when she finally left the comfort of her own home to move into a nursing home. I learned many life lessons from this wonderful woman. The most important, and the one that has contributed to her longevity, is one we teach in our Attracting Success seminars. That is the absolute importance of living life in the moment. No matter what life handed her, she met it with an optimistic attitude and a belief that today – not tomorrow – life will be better!
The main difference between the Law of Attraction and Positive Thinking – is FEELING. It is not enough to THINK about something you set as a goal and expect you can make it happen. The shift comes from the feeling you hold about the thought. Or sometimes, the FEELING is quietly lying deep in your psyche.
